We recently experienced a user that made hundreds of fake accounts and deployed over 800 services within a short amount of time to mine cryptocurrency. During this time, there were a few short downtimes when accessing the Console and deploying from the CLI because our infrastructure was relocating the services quickly. Fortunately, the restrictions we installed after the previous cryptocurrency mining attack made it more difficult for this user to overload our servers, and the recent updates we made to our infrastructure helped the servers to recover gracefully. We will continue to work on ways to prevent future attacks.
We have taken care of the user and all downtime is resolved.
